Art Hause Institute

Hip-Hop Taught You is the educational platform of Art Hause Village Foundation, operating through the Art Hause Institute, and built on the belief that hip-hop is one of the most powerful tools for learning, healing, and economic empowerment.

Through culturally rooted education, we use hip-hop as a gateway to help young people develop creativity, confidence, leadership, and real-world skills while honoring the legacy, innovation, and brilliance of Black creatives.

Our programs provide hip-hop–based education for youth at every stage, from early creative literacy to advanced skill-building, media production, and entrepreneurship. The platform includes immersive learning experiences, curriculum access, mentorship from artists and educators, creative resources, and pathways into the modern creator economy. Every program is grounded in trauma-informed practices and culturally responsive education.

Hip-Hop Taught You connects students directly with artists, producers, educators, and cultural leaders, creating opportunities to learn the craft of music and storytelling, understand the business of creative industries, and build pride and ownership in their voice, identity, and vision.

This is more than music education.
It is a platform for identity, leadership, and economic opportunity, empowering young people to transform their creativity into purpose and possibility.
